Engineering Requirements
Engineering-related requirements are only available if the ALLOW RESTRICTED checkbox is selected in Program Information.
Engineering
ENGINEERING = ENGINEERING MODE VISIT DURATION
This special requirement specifies the type of engineering observation and duration.
- Options for ENGINEERING MODE are MOMENTUM UNLOAD , STATION KEEPING , and GENERAL ENGINEERING . Only one option is allowed.
- VISIT DURATION is the duration of the visit in seconds. The range is 1 TO 172800 seconds.
When ENGINEERING is used:
- The PASS TARGET may be any Fixed Target in the program or NONE , but may not be MULTIPLE FIXED TARGETS or a Region Targets.
- MOSAIC , DITHER , and SUBPIXEL DITHER are set to NONE and are not editable.
- OPTICAL ELEMENT , EXPOSURES/DITHER , MA TABLE , RESULTANT , and OBSERVATION REPEAT are not editable and any values are removed.
- CALIBRATION and ENGINEERING special requirements are not allowed on the same observation.
- Science observations (observations without CALIBRATION or ENGINEERING ) are allowed together with engineering observations in the same observation sequence.
Focus Type Override
FOCUS TYPE OVERRIDE = SMALL MODERATE LARGE
This special requirement specifies an override of the Focus Type for all exposure pointings in the observation.
Real Time
REAL TIME
This requirement specifies that the current (engineering) observation should have real time access (i.e. be executed during a contact) to Roman. The REAL TIME special requirement has no parameters. When present, a flag is set indicating REAL TIME will be used for the observation.
Wavefront Control File
WAVEFRONT CONTROL FILE FILE NAME
This requirement provides the initial formatted filename of the Wavefront Control File for the selected observation. The portion of the file name being provided here must be of the form 'vuuuuu.aux'. The v is 'W' if for WFI ACM moves or 'S' if for secondary mirror offset moves. The u is only ASCII uppercase letters or numbers. The file will always end with '.aux'. Note that ROPGS will prepend the Visit ID to create a fully formed auxiliary file name for use in the Visit File.
