Activities
The Activities form shows all the activities (Passes, Segments, Observations, and Visits) for the Survey Plan as currently specified.
- For approved programs, users may mark individual passes or segments for withdrawal by clearing the checkbox next to the activity.
- For draft programs, activities may not be marked for withdrawal (checkboxes are not available).
The selected activities will become the initial Execution Plan when an approved program is submitted to STScI. If multiple Execution Plans are eventually created, there will be views like this for each Execution Plan.
Activity
Lists all activities (New Execution Plan, Passes, Segments, Observations, and Visits) for the Survey Plan as currently specified.
For approved programs, to mark an activity for withdrawal from the survey, clear the checkbox next to the activity (or select the checkbox to keep it in the plan) as shown in the Figure of Activities for an Approved Program.
Visit Number
In the Activities form each visit has a unique Visit Number that indicates its position in the Survey Plan. Visit Number is in the format:
Pass.Segment.Observation.Visit
For example, Visit Number 003.001.001.005 indicates:
- Visit 005
- in Observation 001
- in Segment 001
- in Pass 0003
Figure of Activities for an Approved Program
For approved programs, visit level information can be found in the Activities section. Clearing the checkbox next to an activity will mark an activity for withdrawal from the survey.
